Sri Ramachandra Engineering and Technology, at SRIHER in partnership with the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science at the State University of New York, Binghamton has set up a Center for Heath Systems and Medical Engineering at SRIHER to initiate interdisciplinary collaboration between the two entities. The center was launched by the Chancellor of SRIHER and the Provost and the Executive Vice President of SUNY – BU on December 7, 2019.

As part of this collaboration, SRIHER and SUNY will work on the following projects:

  • Short courses, seminars, workshops, and conferences in the areas of computer science, medical engineering, healthcare systems, data analytics, robotics, automation and others
  • Faculty development programs in engineering, health and other related areas
  • Student and faculty visits to SUNY-BU and SRIHER
  • Collaborative projects in areas such as Health Analytics and Artificial Intelligence with industry and academic institutions
  • 3.5 year of study at SRIHER for B.Tech + 1.5 year of study at SUNY for MS degree
  • 3 year of study at SRIHER for BSc + 2 years of study at SUNY for MS degree
  • One year of study for MSc at SRIHER and One year of Study for MS at SUNY
  • PhD Student projects at SUNY and SRIHER
  • Three way Collaborative Programs with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on teaching and research
  • Other projects of interest to faculty and students at SRIHER and SUNY
